The Lithium Phosphate battery is light, has a high level of charge and discharge capability (can be charged quicker than a traditional leisure battery), has a comprehensive Battery Management System, built-in shunt and can operate a very low temperatures. This will operate effectively down to -30 Degrees C due to the built in heater, so is perfect for off-grid vehicles. In addition to the LiFePO4 battery this kit also adds the 1500W pure sine wave inverter with bypass feature and an internally pre-wired consumer unit that is designed to specifically work with the innovative inverter bypass system. This simple, yet ingenious design feature allows 230V AC mains appliances and sockets to be connected directly to the inverter with no external switch over needed. When the inverter detects a 230V AC mains supply from the vehicle hook up (via the FB15 consumer unit), it automatically switches off the inverter and within just 30ms switches over to the hook up supply.
